Teaching used to revolve around text books and materials that were on-hand, readily available to classroom teachers who would share their knowledge with the class. The students would sit, listen, take notes, and ask questions.
Today's classroom is a bit different. Students access computers daily, use hand-held devices, gather information in apps, and facebook and twitter between classes. As the global environment
changes and becomes more and more virtual, our classrooms need to reflect the changes and prepare our students for survival in the global economy in which they will become actively contributing members.
In an effort to help teachers access materials and tools they can use in their classrooms, I've developed this wiki to serve
as a central location for resources and tools teachers can use, mostly free-of-charge, with their students that will allow
technology integration and collaboration. Please feel free to tell others about the site and contribute your own resources.
